==Observation Deck== Wright stood in front of the massive window looking out at QulTuq station as the Zion gracefully orbited around it. The Station was busy, and the orbit pattern was pretty full. Ships of various sizes and shapes patiently waited their turn to dock at the station. Wright's thought drifted away from the scene outside and turned toward the impending medical board review he was obligates to report to. He went over his actions on Bajor several time and he could not see where he had done anything that might warrant a review. The more he thought about it, the more he was convinced that this hearing was more about elevating Commander Simmons' political career than a true disciplinary review. He and Simmons had never seen eye to eye on much of anything. During their time on the Comfort he had openly been opposed to his marriage to T'Pril, disapproved of his decision to move into command. Wright remembered the Simmons as an arrogant self-serving person and he had no reason to think that the years had changed him much. Captain Hunter entered the observation deck and nodded at Commander Wright as he turned. "Good evening Captain," said Wright.

Hunter stood next to him, gazing out the window, Hunter acknowledged him with an exaggerated nod of the head "Commander."

Several minutes went by. Both men studied the scene before them as if it somehow for told the future or provided some other benevolent knowledge.

"Are you ready to face the Medical Review Board?"

"I am as ready as I can be," said Wright. "They wasted no time in getting my hearing scheduled."

Hunter nodded, "perhaps it's better this way," he said turning slightly to face Wright, "you know, get it out of the way."

"I'm sure it is not going to be a good experience," said Wright, "Commander Simmons and I have never seen eye to eye on much of anything."

"Simmons? Didn't he serve with you on the Comfort?"

Wright nodded, a look of disgust briefly covered his face, "I found him to be an obnoxious person."

"I take it this hearing isn't just about medical protocols?"

"I doubt it Captain," replied Wright. "I'm sure he plans on using me as a political stepping stone."

"Politics," muttered Hunter as he shook his head in dismay. "It is regrettable such things over-rule commonsense."

"Sometime I think that if there were no politicians there would be more peace." Wright gazed out at the station.

"What is the worse thing that could happen?" asked Hunter.

Wright thought about it a moment, "I suppose they could revoke my medical privileges and recommend that the JAG court martial me."

"How are you going to plead?"

Wright shrugged his shoulders. "Well, there isn't going to be any pleading. I am expected to explain my actions and respond to whatever questions they have."

Hunter nodded. He continued to stare at the massive station until his combadge chirped, "Captain, we've been granted permission to dock on pylon 4."

He tapped his combadge, "Proceed to docking."

"Good luck Number One."
