=Captain's Log Stardate 58205.24=

The Zion is now back in open space. According to the Counsellor's report, the crew's tension is high. This is understandably so. We've had the luxury of traveling in the relative safe confines of the Klingon Empire and now could find trouble at any turn.

We are on a current heading of 272 mark 9. Travelling at warp 9. Silvio and his crew have done an excellent job keeping things running hot.

The ship itself has been very good so far.

Dr. Dane is in surgery now with Commander Wright to attach his new hand. I hope too that will go well.

As for the rest of the crew, they too, are performing admirably.

We certainly will find what the new day will bring.

sickbay 8.00 am

Teilani yawned althought she slept reasonably well she was tired. today was the big day, reattaching the arm. It was still in sickbay and no matter how stress full the day was going to be her first priority was coffee.

" Computer, coffee Jamaican blend, double strong double sweet. "

Taking the mug from the replicator she closed her eyes while taking a sip. Before her minds eye she could already visualize the attachement. Quickly finishing her coffe she went to work.

On a tray close to biobed one she placed micorsutures, dermalregerator, her trusted tricorder, neuro stimulator and several hyposprays. Making sure that all the equipement was sanitized and ready Teilani went to Sceince lab one.

There still lying in its own little nutrience gel lay Commander Wrights arm. The last readings indicated that all the nerves, muscles, vains were ready. Carefully she picked up the container and carried it towards sickbay.

In the mean time one of the nurses had entered and started to prepare herself to assist Teilani. The first option was to prepare the limp for reattachment.

"Gilly," Teilani said. " Make sure that we are not disturbed this morning. All appointments must be handled by the EMH."

" Yes Doctor," Gilly answered.

Preparation of the limps was a painstaking job but eventually all the necessary was done and it was now waiting for Commander Wright. Teilani sat up straight and stretched. She felt a little pop in her back as the vertibrae re-aligned themselfs.

Wright, dressed in casual clothing entered sickbay. It was finally time for him to be reunited with his arm and he looked forwards to getting this over with. "Good morning Doctor."

"Goodmorning Sir," Teilani said with a smile. " Are you ready?"

Wright hopped up onto the bio bed, "You have no idea how ready I am for this."

" It is quit normal if you feel a bit nervous but don't worry Sir, you will be in good hands." she said with a small chuckle. " If you want you can look at your arm right here." she pointed towards the table.

Wright did not feel particularly nervous; just eager. "I would rather not look at it until it is a part of me Doctor." Wright smiled.

"Very well then, before I wisk you off to lala -land Sir, any last requests?"

Wright thought about it, "Ah, yes, no tattoos doctor. Just the arm." Wright smiled at her.

Teilani took the hypospray and pressed it against Wright's neck. " Sweet dreams Commander," she said softly.

Wright relaxed and looked at the doctor; slowly her image began to blur until it was gone.

Teilani gently placed a cover over Wrights body only exposing his arm with the hook still attached to it. She undid the straps and handed the hook to one of the nurses.

"Doc, you want me to recycle this?"

"No, Teilani said. "Just wrap it in some gift paper. Try to replicate purple and yellow polka dots."

The nurse nodded and walked away. "Alright Commander, here we go you going to be fine.

Teilani sterilized her hands and the stomp and firmly gripped the laser scalpel. "Computer start clock. Operation on Commander John Wright right arm, reattachment." a small beep confirmed her request.

Slowly Teilani started to prepare his stump carefully she exposed the various nerves, muscles, vains. Slowly the minutes creeped by and finally after 1 hour Teilani was ready to attach the newly grown arm.

Gillain, one of her nurses had made sure that the neurons in the arm were activated and according to the diagnostic the limp was alive. She had also been able to get Teilani some coffee.

After a small break Teilani went back to her job, using the micro sutures to re-attach the muscles, the bonegenerator to attach the bones together, keeping an ever watchfull eye on the console displaying Wrights vital signs. Judging from his rapid eyemovements, it seemed that he was dreaming.

***

"John," said a female voice, "Wake up."

Wright felt a shove. He opened his eyes and looked into the face of T'Pril. This was not possible, "T'Pril," said Wright, "How... You're..." Wright gulped, "I'm--"

"You're not dead," said T'Pril, "I just thought we could chat while you were relaxed. Your human mind is always so full of emotion; it is hard to get you to listen."

Wright scanned the room, he was still in sickbay, however, there was no one else around. "You left before your work was done with me," replied Wright with a smile.

"That is a pity," she said.

"I have missed you T'Pril," admitted Wright.

"Indeed, it has been a long time my husband," she said, moving closer to him, "I notice that you have not found another mate."

Gently, Wright reached out to her and stroked her face, "When you died, you took the part of me that desired that with you."

"That is most Illogical," she said, "You seek to blame this on my death."

"Not blame," corrected Wright, "You were *the* love of my life, I do not desire to share that kind of love with anyone else."

"If our situations were reversed, I would have moved on," she admitted coldly.

Wright smiled at her bluntness, "Yes, but you are a cold hearted Vulcan," he teased, "I am an emotional human.

The corners of her mouth twitched slightly as she fought to hid her smile, "You have not changed," she did smile slightly, "You always fell back on that illogical argument."

Wright's lips pressed against hers; it was a kiss he had longed for since her death. She took a step back, "I must leave soon, your operation is nearing its completion," she paused, "I do love you my husband."

Wright nodded, "and I you my wife."

T'Pril held up her right hand in traditional Vulcan fashion, "Peace and long life."

Wright returned her gesture but did not respond, because he did not see the logic of telling a dead woman to live long and prosper. Wright watched as the form of T'Pril, his beloved wife slowly faded away.

***

Patiently Teilani continued her work. She felt like an ancient watchmaker, fiddling with the small tools and parts of the trade. Finally she sighed and streched and flexed her muscles. The arm was attached it was now a matter of time to see if the bloodflow as well and the nerve impulses reached the fingertips. Teilani placed a new vial in the hypospray, which contained a anticlodding agent as well as some penicilline, and pressed it against Wrights neck.

She pressed the skin on the arm and saw it bounce back pink, she smiled it ment that the bloodflow was alright. She used the neurostimulator to increase the firing of the neurons. There was no reaction. She tried it gain. Nothing.

"Darned," she muttered. "Gillian, increase the input with 12%. Teilani used the stimulator again. And yes there was a small twitching of the fingers. She sighed what a relief.

She looked at Wright's face and to her surprise she saw a tear appear in his right eye. His eyes moved rapidly. Teilani checked the diagnostics from the reading it appears that the Commander was indeed dreaming.

She lay a cold hand on his forehead. "Sssht it's alright Sir, the surgery went fine." she whispered. Teilani was not sure if he would hear her but atleast it made her feel good.

She quietly brushed away the tear from his eyes and continued working on his arm, after having used the dermal regenerator there was only a small scar visable. Teilani brushed her hair behind her ears. Small beeps on the diagnostic console told her that the arm was fully operational.

She smiled. "Gillian, the sedation will be over soon, let the Commander sleep.

***

Time 1300 hrs

After Teilani had finished and cleanup the surgical equipment she had made sure that Wright was comfortable. But it was now time to wake him up.

"Commander, open your eyes." she said softly. "The surgery is over."

Wright opened his eyes, his vision blurred, grogily, he said, "T'Pril?"

"No Commander, its just me." Teilani said softly as she looked at him.

Wright looked at Dane, "Hi Doc, are you done?"

"I am sorry, you were dreaming."

"Yeah."

"Are you alright, you were crying," Teilani asked softly so that nobody overheard. Why she asked she did not know, she had already found out that the commander was a very private person and would certainly not speak about his dreams to her.

"It was just a dream," said Wright, "A good one."

" I am glad but now look at your arm Commander," she said. "Would you please try to make a fist?"

Wright made a fist. His fingers did as his brain told them to. It still felt a little weak, which was understandable, "Look good Doctor."

Teilani walked over to a small cupboard and took out a little box. "Take these for 2 days, twice a day. Also I want you to do some weightlifting in the gym, to build up the muscle tone in your arm."

Wright smiled, "You bet doc." Wright still felt tired, he would follow the doctors orders but he decided he would take a little nap first.

Teilani walked back and placed the box besides Wright. She took his arm again and slightly pressed the muscles. Then she nodded, pretty pleased about her own handy work.

"Well Sir, there is nothing I can do anymore so there is no reason for me to keep you here any longer." she said softly. " Your free to go."

"Thank you Doctor," The arm looks as good as new."

Teilani smiled slightly. "Just doin' my job Sir, just doin my job."

Teilani was dog tired. The re-attachment of Commander Wrights arm had been hard and tedious. She could use a quick shower and something to eat. That reminded her, his hook still lay in main sickbay. She would have to return it to him sometime later today.

As she sat in her office making the final updates towards his medical charts she heard a young ensign say something towards one of the nurses.

"No, ma'am, m'not ill. I just need t'check in with t'doc if I could please," Max explained and nodded to the nurse's reply. "Yes ma'am. If she's busy I could come back another time if y'wish for me to."

Teilani gave a small sigh and stood up. She walked out of her office. "What seems to be the problem Ensign, Susan?" she asked calmly.

"Nothing doctor, I was just explaining Ensign Tappert that you were too busy today."

Teilani smiled. "Thats o.k. Susan, I can always make some time for a new face."

"Good afternoon Ensign," Teilani said with a smile. "How may I help you?"

"Tapert, ma'am. Maxine Tapert," she smiled. "Just call me Max. I'm new and needing t'check in," Max told her. "Krystal and I, ma'am. I figure with 'aving 'oloemitters and force field generators 'ere for the EMH, she might pay you a visit. And I can instruct 'er not to if you'd wish."

"Krystal?" Teilani asked questionably. She could not recall having seen the name on the crew manifest. "What you mean?"

"She's my AI program, ma'am. And a 'ologram," Max explained.

"I see, computer activate EMH"

As soon as the EMH shimmered into being, Krystal popped into existence on Max's shoulder with a small spray of golden dust. "Ooohh... How come you didn't make me *that* big," the pixie tugged on Max's ear.

"Krystal, say hello to Dr. Dane," Max instructed her. "To both doctors," she included the EMH.

The little pixie waved her fingers and blinked at the two doctors. "Hihihi..." she giggled.

"Now way I will not allow any bugs in my sickbay," Bones the EMH exclaimed. He walked to the side and picked up a tray.

Krystal squealed at the perceived threat and dove into Max's hair

"Bones, put that tray down!" Teilani said and shut up.

"How rude, what a downfall this sickbay has undergone." he muttered. "Bones,"Teilani said. "Go to examine room 1 and sanatize something."

Max had had taken a step back from the EMH when he armed himself with a tray and watched him curiously as he left on the heels of the doctor's instructions.

"Sorry for his attitude Ensign Tappert," Teilani said. She walked around Max studiying the pixie.

"Max, ma'am. And it's no problem. A little odd.. Perhaps something coded into his subroutines..." she mused. Krystal peeked out at the doctor and blinked huge blue eyes at her. "Is it safe now?" she squeaked a little.

Teilani smiled. "Yes it is, you can come out now. Nice to meet you Krystal, I am sorry he scared you a bit."

"He's big," the pixie squeaked and fluttered out from the depths of Max's hair, untangling the red strands from her hands and feet and wings. Pretty soon she was fluttering around sickbay, exploring things and poking her head in places, but never getting too far from Max or the doctor.

"Miss Tapert, I believe you were scheduled for an physical?"

"Uhh... Yes, ma'am," Max tried in vain to get her hair back into some kind of order. "Did you want me to schedule an appointment, or is now a'roight?"

"Sure we can do it right now, it only takes about 10 minutes."

"Oh, that's fine, ma'am," Max smiled at her.

"And you Krystal, do you need a physical too?" Teilani asked with a little chuckle. She found the little pixie fascinating.

Krystal zipped over to the doctor at her question blinking as she processed the request. She had a cotton ball and a shiny safety pin clutched to her chest. "Will it tickle?" she asked, and then got distracted by something else that was shiny and caught her eye. "I'll be right back!" she giggled and zipped off with a little spray of dust left in her wake.

"Tell me Ms Tapert, are you settling in alright? I hope that the computer problems dont cause you too much of a headache."

"Oh no, ma'am. It's fascinating. Not a 'eadache in the least. I'm enjoying myself... Err... Not because of what 'appened, y'see... But because I'm getting to know the computer system intimately... I'm in 'eaven, ma'am," she admitted honestly and then pinkened a bit at the ease of her admittance. "I'm settling in fine, ma'am. Pixie's turned my replicator into a nest though," she grinned and watched as the small creature zipped back to them and perched herself somewhere on Dane's shoulder to watch the proceedings.

"Well I will be the judge of that, so lets just see o.k. Hop on the biobed for me." Teilani took her tricorder and began to scan Max.

"Your dopamine levels are a bit high, but we can fix that."

"Dopamine levels? Not sure what those are, ma'am... Or what would cause them to be 'igh... I 'aven't noticed anything wrong though..." Max replied.

"You do know that there is some slight braindamage right?" Teilani asked Max.

Max and Krystal both blinked at that. "Brain damage?" Max frowned and Pixie accessed the ship's data banks to look up dopamine and brain damage as she wove the small shiny safety pin into her hair for an ornament.

"I think that is why you are having those migraines. I can give you something for that but you need to see me at least twice a month."

"Oh... Twice a month?" Max's brain was furiously calculating her schedule and seeing where the doctor would fit into it. "A'roight, I think I can work that in... Give me what?" she asked.

"I could make her drink nectar," Krystal offered. "It's very good, and magical, and helps make strong pixies."

Teilani smiled at the remark Krystal made. "You could do that as well," she responded to her. "I bet you will take good care of her."

Krystal looked a little smug at that and started preening her wings. "She needs taking care of," the little pixie remarked to no one in particular.

She then returned her attention to Max. " Dopamine causes you to have headaches, probably caused by the interface. I know it will be difficult for you but you have to try to limit the use of it."

Max made a face, first at Krystal and then at Teilani. "I'll try," she finally agreed.

Teilani turned and pressed a vial in a hypospray. "This is an inhibitor which will prevent or better yet subdue your headaches. It will last for about 4 weeks."

"Are there any side effects?" Max asked curiously.

Teilani shook her head, " no side effects," she then pressed the hypo against Max's neck.

Max winced even though it wasn't suppose to hurt. "Thank you," she murmured.

"And you Krystal, do you function correctly within your parameters?" Teilani asked with a little chuckle.

The little pixie stopped preening her wings and blinked at the doctor. "Uh-huh. Why?" she asked curiously.

"Well you are a member of this crew and it is my job to keep everybody healthy."

That made Krystal giggle delightfully. "Are you going to give me a checkup?"

Teilani winked at Max. "Yes just a little one. She ran her scanner along Krystal. "Hmmmm so far as I can see you are functioning correctly."

"That didn't even tickle," Krystal giggled again. "Thank you," she added politely.

"It was my pleasure."

"Thanks, doc," Max slid off the biobed and offered Dane a smile. "I'll be back in two weeks to see you again."

"See you in two weeks then," Teilani said as she closed her tricorder.

“It’s a sandwich day”

After ensign Tapert had left sickbay, Teilani turned towards the EMH who was pretending to scrub the sickbay floor. "Bones, you should really mind your manners.,” she said. " You can not start hitting anything you see."

"Dang it," Doc, he replied. " Al these pets on board, first I find hairballs on the microscope, then we have an invasion of flying musketoes, what else is next," he complaint. " Denebian slime devils in the sink?"

Teilani just smiled. " Computer deactivate EMH." " How rude," she heard as Bones disappeared in a light bluish shimmer.

Teilani looked at her chronometer, 1600 hrs already and again she had missed lunch, and no wonder her uniform dropped like a sack on her body. Thinking about lunch made her tummy rumble, so a quick bite at the lounge would do her good. Besides it had been a while since she had spoken to Miranda.

*** Lounge**

Whistling a small tune, Teilani entered the Lounge. It was lightly packed and she managed to get a place at the bar. There were some other crewmembers before her so she patiently waited. Blowing a strand of red hair out of her face, she desperately needed a haircut, she overlooked the place. The conversations were muffled, but relaxed. Obviously people were glad that they were on their way back to QT.

Miranda watched Doctor Dane enter the lounge. She watched as Dane surveyed to people in the room. "They are all happy to be heading home," said Miranda, "I can't say I blame them after everything they have been through. Hello Doctor, how are you today?"

Teilani turned towards Miranda and nodded. "Aren't we all and as for your question honestly speaking, mighty hungry." she said laughing.

She placed her elbows on the table and rested her head in her hands, again a strand of red hair dangled in front of her eyes. "So what’s on the menu for today?"

"Today is soup and sandwich day," replied Miranda, "If you are off duty, I have a fine bottle of Bajoran Spring Wine."

"Hmm now that sounds interesting. Then please 1 spring wine, a bowl of hot steaming soup and sandwiches please." Teilani smiled as she gave the order. She was now indeed really hungry. As she waited for her food she played with the padd she had found on Rura Pehhe. No matter what happened but she was not going to leave it out of her sight.

Miranda returned a few minutes later with a bowl of Bean with Ham Soup and a turkey sandwich. She set them both on the counter in front of the doctor. Noticing the device that the doctor had she said, "What have you got there?"

Teilani tapped the padd. "It's a padd I found on Rura Penthe, but it does not work."

"I am sure that if you would pry lieutenant Silvio away from the counselor he could make it work," suggested Miranda

" I guess I should and although I am curious what is on it, it also scares the heck out of me."

"Really, why is that," asked Miranda as she placed a glass of spring wine on the counter in front of the doctor.

" Well as you might have heard Hunter and myself went down to Rura Penthe to talk to the warden bout my brother Eric. Apparently he was a guest there. Anyway the warden told us that he had escaped and gave us the coordinates to his last known location."

"You are afraid that you might find out something bad about your brother," asked Miranda.

Teilani nodded. "Yes, you know Eric always used to be the mischief in the family and heaven knows how many times he got into trouble when he was little."

She paused and took a sip of the spring wine, which was sparkling and refreshing.

"I am just so afraid that one of those days he will get himself in such a mess that he will not be able to get out off."

"Only time will tell, perhaps things are not so bad as they might seem," suggested Miranda.

Teilani giggled. "Then you don't know my little bro. He even gets himself into trouble by just sitting down. But anyway when Hunter and I reached the location, I found this padd lying in a cave."

"Well, when you are ready, you will read it," said Miranda smiling sweetly.

"I know,” Teilani replied. "But how are things with you?"

"I am just fine. I took a little time off and now I am back to my normal self," said Miranda.

"That’s good to hear, you have been working round the clock lately,” Teilani said as she spooned the soup. "Wow this is delicious,” she said with a gleam in her eyes. " So what did you do?"

"Commander Wright and I spent a couple days on the holodeck. We went on a cattle drive," said Miranda, "The Commander tells me that Silvio wrote the program and we were testing it for him." Miranda smiled. "It was a good time."

"A cattle drive?" Teilani asked. " What is that?"

"It is how the ranchers during the old west period on Earth used to get their livestock to market," said Miranda, "It involved riding horses and a whole lot of cattle. Silvio even through in some adventure for us as well."

"You mean to say that you ride on a horse behind a cows butt?" She whispered then she started to laugh. " Must have been quit a dusty and smelly ride then."

Miranda laughed, "I guess you could say that, but it got my mind of my troubles for a while and that is what counts."

Teilani nodded and finished her soup and sandwiches. " I am sorry to hear about your troubles, have you tried talking to Ms Zoei about it? If there is anything I can do just ask. Sickbay is not that active at the moment."

"My troubles are not all that serious," she smiled, "I have never been to the sickbay here, but I heard that it is impressive."

"It depends what you consider being impressive," Teilani responded with a chuckle. " Its white, sterile, lots of beeping and flashing lights and that’s it. You know what if you ever have a spare time just drop by so that I can give you the grand tour."

"I might just do that doctor," replied Miranda.

Several crewmembers entered the lounge. Miranda watched them as they found a place to sit. "Well, looks like I have to get to work, you have a good afternoon doctor," said Miranda as she went off to help her new customers.

Teilani stood up and took her glass of spring wine with her; she found a comfortable spot near one of the windows and sat down. Closing her eyes.

Teilani leant back in her chair, the food Miranda had supplied was excellent and finally Lani felt content. She looked at the padd in her hand, it was still black and for some reason she still had not been able to get it fixed.

On one hand she was curious what was on it but on the other hand afraid what it might say. She placed her legs on one of the chairs and closed her eyes, thinking about the little away mission she and Hunter had.

Contrary to the belief Hunter was quit an remarkable person and Teilani had enjoyed their little tete a tete.

Patia picked up her glass of tea and turned from the bar. She had thought she had noticed Lani earlier, but hadn't wanted to interrupt her meal. Slowly she threaded herself between the crowded tables. Miranda's was hopping tonight, she noticed.

Quietly, she paused by the table. "Lani?"

Teilani opened one eye and looked to the side and sat up straight. "Hello Patia, wont you join me?"

"I would be happy, to join you. You had a pleasant look on your face. Thinking good thoughts?"

Teilani nodded. "Indeed, I had. So how are you?"

"I am very well, thank you," Patia smiled.

"And how is Silvio?"

Patia chuckled. "It is amazing to me how fast news travels. The last I saw of him, he was doing very well, also."

"Well despite the ship is big, news travels fast. I'm glad for you, you two make an excellent couple."

"Thank you. I wanted to let you know I will be contacting your family tomorrow, just so you are prepared for me to follow up with you after the contact. Do you have any questions or hesitations before I make that contact?" Patia asked.

Teilani let out a big sigh. That was something she dreaded. "Well one is never prepared for that Patia but one's gotta take the bull by the horns every now and then. And the quicker we get it over with the better."

"Very true, it isn't going to go away, that is for sure," Patia leaned back in her seat and took a sip of her tea.

Teilani squeeze the padd untill her knuckles were white. That was the only external view of her nervousness, but inside she was a nervous wreck.

"What do you have there, Teilani?" Patia asked.

Teilani stroke the padd. "Its a padd Hunter and I found on Rura Penthe. Unfortunately it does not work, so I have no idea what is on it.

"Going to have someone take a look at it? And why were you on Rura Penthe," Patia asked. She braced her arms on her knees as she settled more comfortably in her seat.

"Well I went down there because of Eric. It appeared that he was a prisoner there and the warden told us that he escaped."

"That is a pretty amazing feat, considering where he was. Do you have any idea of where he could have gone?" Patia asked.

Teilani shook her head. "No Captain and myself went to the last known location and we found this," Teilani tapped the padd.

"I am glad you found that much at least. I hope someone is able to get it working for you so you can access the information on it. Then, I hope it was his," Patia smiled softly.

"I hope so to," Teilani said. "But between us girls, tell me about Silvio, what is he like?"

"That is a tough question to answer," Patia replied. "He is just himself. No pretenses, no games, nothing false. I will say the one part that is a little disconcerting is, as a Betazed I can see most everyone's thoughts. I can also see some of his, but it is very spotty when it comes to his feelings about me. That is probably not odd to you, but it is about learning to trust what I can't see, which is odd to me."

"How about you? What is happening with you?" Patia asked.

"Not much," Teilani said with a chuckle. "I am what you say married to sickbay. But that reminds me," Teilani's eyes started to sparkle. "Commander Wright promised me to teach me about command stuff. I wonder if he will keep his end of the bargain.?"

"I don't know why he wouldn't. He seems to be a man of his word. He stopped in my office the other day. He was quite excited about the reattachment of his arm." Patia said.

Teilani smiled. "Yes I am pretty proud of it, the operation went without any hickup and as long as he does what I say and take his medication, he will have no further problems with it."

"That is wonderful news for him. I am glad to hear some positive news," Patia smiled.

"You know Patia, I know you can not disclose any patient/counselor information, but he was crying while he was sedated."

"Really? Is that something you see often under sedation?" Patia asked. She leaned forward and cupped her hands around her glass.

Teilani nodded. "Yes I did not want to push any further you know to ask him but........... I don't know.

"I am sure he will stop in to show off his new arm. If he doesn't bring it up, I am sure I can figure out a subtle way to ask him how he is doing. Thank you for letting me know it happened," Patia took a sip from her glass.

"No problem, thats what I am here for." Teilani said smiling. "But now for something completely different. You think I should cut it?" Teilani pulled at her hair.

"Are you having trouble with it?" Patia asked?

She smiled. "No not that but it becomes unmanagable sometimes."

Patia grinned, "That is why I keep mine this short. It is long enough to twist up, but short enough to keep out of my face, too."

Teilani grinned. "Indeed and making either a ponytail or a bun ever morning..she rolled her eyes. "By the way what time is it." she asked.

"2200hrs," Patia replied.

"Oh my I need to go back. Teilani turned on her heels and walked towards the door. "Patia...... thanks for your help, you know with my family."

"My pleasure, that is what I am here for," Patia winked.

Teilani beamed as she darted out of sickbay.

==Sickbay==

"Maxy is asleep," the little pixie announced with a smirk as she popped into existence on Teilani's desk accompanied by a tiny spray of golden dust. "You are the first doctor to ever get her to do -that-," she continued as she fluttered her wingtips and started poking into things. Just looking really. She had a safety pin with a small washer hooked through it and a paperclip as decorations in her hair. Around her wrist she'd wrapped a thin length of chain enough times that it covered half her forearm.

"Ooooohhh... Pretty..." she stopped to admire and stroke the marble and white pebble on Dane's desk. It wasn't until then that the small pixie actually realized that the good doctor wasn't at her desk. She blinked and looked around even as she accessed the computer system to locate the woman. "Whoops.. Wrong room..." Krystal giggled and disappeared, only to reappear in Main Sickbay where she flitted about, looking for the doctor.

"Oooooohhh... A *Sick Person*!" she noticed the occupied bio bed and zipped over to see who it was, then zipped over to the doctor. "We have a *Sick Person*!" she tugged on Teilani's uniform and pointed over to the patient.

Teilani giggled. "Hello Krystal, what you doing here?"

"Reporting in! Maxy's asleep!" she announced and the little pixie continued to tug on her uniform but it was clear she wasn't going to get anywhere cause she had both tiny feet planted on Teilani's chest. "Is he sick?"

"Yes he is very sick. His name is Mason and I was just about to shift him to another stasis chamber."

"Mason... Is he on the crew roster?" Krystal asked even as she accessed it. "What's wrong with him? Can I help? I could get him some nectar!" She clapped her hands together, which meant she lost her grip on Dane's uniform and went for a little tumble in midair, but recovered quickly enough, she's a pixie after all. "Whoops!" she giggled. "Want me to get some nectar, huh? Do you need help?"

"Computer activate EMH"

"Uht-Oh..." Krystal blinked when the EMH appeared and checked him for any trays.

"Now what took you so long, I am tired of waiting. I am a doctor and not an on and off switch."

"He's kind of snippy, huh?" Krystal asked Dane in a rather over loud stage whisper. "Maxy could fix that if you want her to." Then she took up a stance in midair, posing with her hands on her hips and her feet planted...er... Firmly... Well, firmly looking anyway. "We have a *Sick Person*!" she told the EMH. "And Doctor Dane needs your help! So.. Be nice."

Bones looked at the pixie. "BOO," he said and then glances at Doc Dane. "And you want me to listen to that?!" he continued while arching an eyebrow.

Krystal 'eeep'd' and stuck her tongue out at him as she zipped behind = Dane to keep the doctor between her and the EMH. "Uppity hologram," she muttered.

Teilani just shook her head. "Bones I need your help we need to move him = to another stasis chamber. And indeed I want you to be nice to Krystal."

"Hah! See! And I'm *K R Y S T A L*, not a 'that'," The little pixie made a face at Bones and perched on Teilani's shoulder to preened her wings.

"Don't you mind him," Teilani told Krystal. "He is harmless."

"He wants to swat me," Krystal announced, and kept a wary eye on the EMH.

Together with Bones Teilani managed to switch Mason over to the biobed. Krystal even pitched in and tried to help. Although her brand of helping involved tugging on Mason's ears to help move him. There was still no indication that he would wake up.

"There..." Krystal brushed her hands off and perched on the head of the biobed. "Want me to get him some nectar now?" she looked from Bones to Teilani and grinned.

Teilani ran her scanner over Mason. "Not just now Krystal, he is still unresponsive. So we better let him rest."

"Alright. Maybe I'll sing to him later," the little pixie agreed.

"So tell me you like it on the Zion?" Teilani asked as she walked to her office. In the background Bones was re-assessing some cultures.

"I like it on the Zion," she giggled and fluttered over to check out what Bones was doing before following Teilani into her office. "Maxy says the computer is a 'roight fair piece o'work,'" she imitated the young computer expert perfectly.

"I'm glad you like it." Teilani said. "I see that you like shiny things, I might have something for you"

"Oooohh... You might?" she clapped excitedly and dust sparkled in the air around her. "Uhh-huh, it's a pixie's duty to collect shiny sparkly things for her treasure, you know. We have treasures, you see. Like dragons.. Only much nicer."

Teilani walked to a drawer and pulled out a little crystal earring. It sparkled in Teilani's hands "I found this in the corridor one day and nobody has claimed it back. So if you want it it is yours."

Krystal followed and hovered just over Teilani's shoulder. "Ooooohhhh..." she blinked when she saw the earring and hovered closer to it. "For me? Really?" she asked oh a hushed whisper.

Teilani giggled as she noticed the pixie being all excited. "Yes you can = put it in your treasure box, I have no use for it."

"Oooohhh... Thank you!" the little pixie took the treasure and clasped = it to her bosom before she buzzed up to place a very pixie type kiss on Teilani's cheek. "Thank you, thank you, thank you..."

Teilani smiled as she saw the little pixie disappear with her treasure.
