== Commander Wright's Office ==

Wright sat at his desk going over the information regarding the Pegasus project. He found the idea of a small attack ship being stationed off of the Zion intriguing. The initial test data looked promising. He set down the PADD and rubbed his temples. He had the start of a bad headache coming on, and he was not looking forward to it.

He retrieved his PADD and tried to focus on the document. After reading the same paragraph 5 times he was about to put it back down when he was interrupted by the ship's comm. system. "Commander we have a message from Qul Tuq for you Sir."

"Send it to my office," said Wright.

"Aye Sir."

Wright adjusted his console so he could see it better and then activated the call. Doctor Kensington looked back at him.

"Hello Sam."

"Hello John," replied Kensington. His lips were taught and his eyes held a glint of steel in them.

"Is something wrong?"

Kensington nodded. "You are familiar with Fred Simmons?"

"Yes, he served on the USS Comfort with me." Wright did indeed know this man. Wright never cared much for him, he was an arrogant and ambitious man.

"Fred has been named the Chairman of the Maquis Medical Review Board."

"I'm happy for him," said Wright; sarcasm dripping from every word.

"Don't be," replied Kensington, "He is gunning for you John."

Wright looked at the man on the video console. "You are kidding?"

"I wish I were." Kensington frowned. He hated what he was required to do. "I am to inform you that you are to present yourself to the board of Medical Review as soon as you return from your present mission. This is an official notice of inquiry into your actions on the planet Bajor."

Wright's seethed inside. It was all that he could do to keep himself under control. He kept reminding himself that Kensington was only the messenger here. It was not his fault. After a long moment he said, "Thanks for letting me know." Wright spoke in a strained, even tone. "Tell Fred I look forward to seeing him again."

Kensinton nodded. "I will send you his initial complaint so you have an idea what he is getting at."

"Thank you."

Kensington gave Wright an uneasy smile and then the communication terminated.

Wright sat quietly for a few moments turning the PADD he held over and over in his hands. He finally tossed the PADD back on his desk, got up and left his office. His head was pounding. He needed a break.
