After the acadamy she was assigned to starfleet medical school were she worked for 5 years after this she requested an assignment on Outpost 183 whose scientist had discovered a new antireagent, and a probably cure for the vulcan bandii syndrome (for this she was given the grankite order of honor. after an initial 4 years she was re-called to the medical academy to take up the position as chief medical officer, as this was not fullfilling her ambitions she requested transfer to the uss starchaser who surveyed the Orion nebula at the Gama quadrant, due to the ship being in service for some time and was made redundent she has requested a new position on the USS Zion. |

While she appears very strikt, she is actually very friendly and outgoing. she will go out of her way at social functions to make conversation with someone she doesn't know. During the Cardasian war with the Federation, she spent most of his time on the front-lines and picked up the habbit of sleeping fully dressed thus saving time getting to her post when a Red Alert Status was called. This led rise to remarks of her programing the replicator to automatically wrinkle her uniform. Even as a child, she was somewhat self conscious she was often teased and taunted as a child and has, on more than one occasion, physically injured someone, even though it was not her intention. she still considers herself a gentle person, always trying to avoid head on confrontations when ever possible. Though she is not easily angered, she will strike back in the face of adversity, and will never back down if one of his patients or a weaker individual is threatened in his presence. she tends to be very quiet spoken and most people are somewhat intimidated by her, but those who are able to fight through will find her to be a valued and trusted friend. She holds honesty and truth to be the most important personal values for anyone and he expresses this in everything she does. |

Teilani's first love was flying and she originally joined Star Fleet to become a pilot. however, she had difficulty getting accustomed to being in such a small, cramped space and even offered to assist in modifying a Corvette to accommodate this. Unfortunately, her instructors would not allow this, she would have to either learn to cope with the confining space or change to a different branch. With inspiration and encouragement from her Mother, she chose to go with Medicine.
