Father; Suvok 205 retired diplomat now liveing in a monastary; He had build a reputation of being one of the best vulcan diplomats. He negotiated the Gradaharen peace and mediated between the Vulcan Isolationist movement and the sitting council for acceptation of that group.
Mother; T'Pon 197 Vulcan muscician; she composed many famous vulcan lyre songs.

Childhood (birth to Adult):

He was brought up in a secluded village near the monastary of Talara. Since there were few people in the village he knew just a couple of children and spent most of his time in the monastary. The monks had learned him the basics of being a vulcan and he was eager to learn more. Sadly his father was away a lot so he was alone with his mother for quite some years, but she taught him music and mathematics. He was quite talented in playing the harp. In the time that his father stopped by they both enjoyed themselves in games of chess but also in deep conversations about philosophy. From his father he learned most about culturesa and philosophy.

Early Education

He learned a lot from his parents and ther monks, but there was a lot more to know. His father applied him to the Vulcan science academy, where he immediatley got accepted after doing hit initiatal test. He was very talented in the first year and the master picked him out as one of his protoges. He was encouraged to take up as many courses as possible. Though his main interests were in diplomacy, just like his father, he was also very talented in astrophysics and stellar cartography.
After a couple of years he met T'Pelar. She was the daughter of a vulcan council member. They both fell in love. Sarik graduated the year after one year later then T'Pelor who studied diplomacy, just like him. He was the best of the year and majored in astrophysics, antropology and diplomacy.
Both T'Pelor and he went to a monastary were they both deepend their relation, they finally got married. For two years they stayed there but after that T'Pelor was offered a position at the ministry of foreign affairs.
Sarik applied for a vulcan science vessel. He did research on a binary solar system and mapped parts of uncharted space.
After two years he returned home. He met his wife again and they lived together for a few months. Then his father asked him to be his diplomatic aid in an important delegation. He accepted and joined his father.
While on that mission he learned a lot new people and got in touch with the federation. He was intrigued by them and decided to enter starfleet.

Starfleet Career

While he had already server onboard various ships, he took one year of basic training and an additional year for science and command to learn the basics of starfleet and its rules. He was being asked by the captain Rixx at the USS Hood where he also met Ian Hunter. Just after the first incident happened, Sarik left Starfleet before matters would go out of hand. He returned to vulcan where he was at the table with Spock negotiating peace with the Romulans. It was only after a few yeard that Ian Hunter had talked him into joing the new federation (maquis) again.

He loves playing the lyre and the lute. Likes chess games, and is an excellent Vulcan cook.

Personality Profile

He is an introvert person, yet incredibly curious. He is somewhat suspicious of emotions and therefore also most humans. He believes that the resort to violence is a tendency that humans find often 'enjoyable'.
He resents violence and only resorts to it when there is absolutly no way out. His peaceful demeanor is one of his strong points when in negotiations.
He has a tendency in calculating all risks inso hoping to find a best solution to all problems.
His background makes him somewhat arrogant to other people which makes him a natural outsider for people who dont know him, but once a friend always a friend, as can be seen in the relation he already has with Ian Hunter.

Special Notes:

His telepathic capablities are very well developed, but have not yet come to a full growth.

He is a skilled diplomat an excellent scientist in various fields of expertise, his resourcefulness in a general way is never to be underestimated and even surprises himself sometimes.
