Teilani pushed and pushed. She was laying on something hard and it went up and down. Still half sleepy she felt next to her. A body...... it was breathing, she tried to sat up blinked a few times. Taking sometime to realize where she was. 'Hunter' she thought. Her bathrobe was open and her left leg was drapped over his. His right arm was firmly holding her. "Oh my goodness," she mumbled, trying to keep the robe together.
Her wriggling made Hunter steer and Teilani softly laid back down. This was going to create some prime gossip if ever anyone found out.
Hunter stirred awake. Without opening his eyes, he could tell the Teilani was awake as well, "good morning," he said softly.
She stretched and pushed herself partially up on one elbow, her red hair was drapped over Hunter's chest. "Goodmorning," she replied. "How are you feeling?"
Hunter, feeling a little awkward replied, "I'm feeling...rested."
"Sir," she said softly with a bit of a blush, "did we........you know...... I mean. Well.......ehm. Not that I mind you know..... but........ " Teilani stopped and looked up, her green eyes locked on Hunter's face.
Hunter closed his eyes and leaned his head back as a smirk crossed his face, nothing had happened and normally, he would have told her so, but on a whim he decided to fib her. "You were great," is all he said, giving her a reassuring squeeze.
Teilani's eyes grew big and her face turned from red to white. "I... was.... are you making fun now? Then she smiled, shrugged and blushed. "I guess we needed it both."
In the back of her mind she heard alarmbells, had she slept with Hunter, sure she had but slept as in.... well she could not think of the word. She felt relaxed and wanted to smack herself for not being able to remember. What would happen now.
Hunter rolled his eyes and shook his head slightly, as amusing as he found the situation, he made a mental note to set Dane straight later if she really couldn't remember that nothing happened.
She could only think that it must have been great. She gniffled and pushed herself upwards.
"I guess its time to get to back to work hey?" Teilani said with a sigh. "Bummer, I am actually quite comfortable right now." She chuckled.
"Yeah, me too..." he said softly with a realization that was true. It was nice to feel someone close by. Deep in his mind it made him uncomfortable, in a time of war such attachments could make a starship captain vulnerable. For now, he dispelled those concerns and enjoyed the moment.
Teilani sat up, holding the robe tightly. She frowned and looked at Hunter. She noticed the quick look of concern and worry on his face. "Captain, it will be alright, eventually." She said softly. She stood up and looked down at him.
Hunter Teilani's voice distracted his thoughts, he turned toward her, Hmmm....?"
"Race you to the bathroom?" she said. A big grin on her face and her eyes twinkled.
A grin crossed his face, sure, he thought, he jumped up and chased after Teilani like some young cadet.
Teilani giggled and dashed towards the bathroom. She laughed, it had been a while since she had enjoyed herself so much, sometimes it was nice pretending to be a cadet or even a young girl. No worries, no responsibilities, only fun. She looked in the mirror, the bags under her eyes were almost gone and for some reason she had some colour on her face.
"You go shower first sir, I will shower in my quarters" she said.
Hunter smiled and crossed his arms as he leaned against the door. "I'm just kidding." Said Hunter, go ahead if you want to. I'm going to eat first anyway."
"Ok," she responded and waited until Hunter had left before she dropped the bathrobe on the floor. Enjoying the shower she quickly cleaned and dressed in a fresh uniform. It was indeed like Hunter said; the yacht was very well stocked.
Making her self presentable again Teilani took her blue overcoat and tucked her hair behind her ears. As she stepped out of the bathroom she noticed Hunter sitting at the table eating.
"Bathroom is all yours Captain." She tickled Chester behind his ear. "Hi sweety, this time I did not use your couch," she whispered at him.
Hunter stood up and gave his plate back to the replicator.
"I will leave first Sir, you never know who might be watching."
Hunter gave her a wry smile and a wink, "we'll see you later then."
Teilani nodded and watched him walk towards the bathroom. Gathering her other belongings like the med kit and tricorder she looked down at Chester.
"You know sweetie," she said to the little cat, "I dont know what it is but everytime he and I get together I fall a sleep." she grinned. "Watch over him Chester."
She stood up and walked towards the door, looking around in the docking bay, spotting nobody, Teilani left.
Ian turned from the door and looked at Chester. "Whew," he said, "what a woman, don't let me forget to tell her that nothing really happened."
Chester looked back at him. Only one thing was on his mind. "Okay, lets get you some breakfast too."
