Hunter went to his quarters where there was a damage control team. There was some minor structural damage to the hull outside the quarters. A conduit had also ruptured on the deck beneath and caused some damage to the deck.

"Sorry Sir," said the crewman, "Lieutenant Riaan will need to assign you temporary quarters until your quarters can be made habitable."

"Alright, carry on."

Hunter turned and headed toward the turbolift. Riaan, This is Hunter, I'll need some temporary quarters, please see what you can do.=/ Understood Captain it may take a couple of hours I have already been reassigning quarters for quite a few of the crew including where some have to share until this ship is repaired. Please send who ever is looking for quarters to my office and I'll let them know where they will be temporarily assigned. Also Captain my officers have reported in cleanup is taking time and some I gave time off after they have pulled two shifts to get some sleep and something to eat.=/ Good enough, its nice to see you taking care of your crew. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine.=/ When the turbolift doors closed, Hunter tried to take a deep breath, his ribs hurt from landing hard on the deck. He'd let Dane look at it tomorrow. Right now just needed to get Chester and find a place to sleep off the pain. "Deck eight," he said recomposing himself.

When the turbolift doors opened, he walked down the corridor to Sick bay and found Dr. Dane.

Teilani sat in her office, the remaining patients in sickbay were looked after by her staff so she had some time to herself. She had made herself comfortable on her couch and Chester was purring on her lap. The little critter had some rough time and Teilani had decided he needed some TLC. She had spoiled him rotten with some nice saucer of cream and some fresh fish from the Zion's kitchen.

"Hello Doctor," Ian said with a smile, "looks like you have things well in hand."

"Hello Captain," Teilani said as she put Chester on the floor.

"What? Hey," thought Chester as he landed on the floor. Chester felt that human things just did not have an understanding of how important it was not to interrupt a good purr.

She stood up. "May I help you, can I get you anything.

"No, I'm fine for the moment, I just came to check on Chester. My quarters were damaged, Riaan is arranging me temporary quarters."

That is awful, you have a place to stay, you can take my quarters if you want, I can sleep in here."

"I appreciate the offer Doctor, but that's ok, I wouldn't want to inconvenience you," he smiled, "You look like you could use a good night's sleep too."

Chester looked from Captain to Doctor, "Hello, I am waiting," he thought, "you can resume petting me any time now."

"Its no bother, I have the nightshift anyway. Besides you offered be your couch one time remember," Teilani said with a smile as she made herself comfortable on the corner of her desk.

Hunter shrugged, "well, maybe if you don't mind I'll take you up on that then, until Riaan gets me temporary quarters."

"Besides, Chester knows my room he will be more comfortable there."

"I could use a nap," said Hunter. "We took a pretty good beating up there."

"We did I hope the damage was not too great. Talk about damage are you feeling alright?" Teilani saw Hunter flinched sometimes as he took a breath.

"Its nothing, I'm sure it is just a small bruise," protested Hunter.

"Come with me Sir," she said as she stood up. Both Hunter and Dane walked over to the examination room.

Teilani took a tricorder. "Ok strip," she said and then blushed. What had come over her, she always had wanted to say that and now she blurted it out like a adolescent.

"Excuse me?" asked Hunter.

"No no, I m sorry Captain, I will manage." Teilani said with an apologetic look on her face. She fiddled with the tricorder and ran the scanner along his upper body.

Hunter smirked at her as she examined him.

"Seems you have some bruises and a cracked rib Captain," Teilani said softly having refound her professionalism. "Would you please lie down?"

Hunter tried to take a deep breath to vocalize is protest, but the pain was undeniable. He resolved himself and complied.

She took a bone regenerator and lifted Hunter's top part of the uniform. Carefully she ran the regenerator along the injured side. "I will give you some painkillers but its up to your body to do the rest."

Hunter closed his eyes as Dane injected the pain reliever, He felt very tired, and waited for the doctor's voice again.

"Captain," Teilani said softly. "Captain, its done, you can sit up now."

Hunter didn't respond.

Teilani smiled as she took a blanket from one of the other empty bed. She gently covered Hunter with it and had to resist the urge to brush though his hair. She could see the fine lines in his face. Commanding a starship was not an easy task.

" Computer dim the lights to 15%." Softly the examiniation room became darker and Teilani went back to her office.
